I have permission to share this deeply personal and uplifting story. A lady this evening asked for a message from her baby in spirit. On this day (January 16th) in 2023, at the Early Pregnancy Unit, she was given the awful news that her baby had no heartbeat. Apart from a minute blood clot and a strong personal intuition that the baby was not well, there were no signs or symptoms of the miscarriage, the baby had unfortunately been no longer alive for 2 weeks, it was a missed miscarriage.
She was not well informed and decided to “let nature take its course”. After a few days of watching and waiting she then experienced a lot of (unnecessary) pain and had to visit the hospital again for a surgical procedure. The poor woman blamed herself, she put the miscarriage down to her taking Lemsips for a flu that she had at Christmas, drinking alcohol at the Christmas party. She had not known that she was pregnant.
Eleven years on, the lady is at peace with what happened, she knows that it was best for both her and the baby that the pregnancy did not progress ( for various very personal reasons). She is very grateful that she has a scan photo of the baby even though it was before 10 weeks and knows that the baby has never left her side and is guiding her in life.
I shuffled the deck this evening and asked the baby for a message or a clear sign that it is still with its mother and this card came out!!!!!!! Six of Water (or Six of Cups in the traditional tarot deck) is synonymous with children, the past and people from the past reappearing. The white feather is very clearly the sign that she was asking for.
Additional meanings for the card are given in the guidebook and the words that jumped out are as follows: “anniversaries” and “being innocent of wrong doing”. As you can imagine, it was a very powerful and poignant message to receive.
