“If I marry (Name of Person) I will be happy.
If I get that particular job, I will be delighted.
If I buy that house, I will be content.”
Its important to carefully word our wishes. Sometimes when we get what we wished for, we find that we are far from happy, dissatisfied and in worst case scenario, we have landed ourselves in a very difficult situation that we now desperately want to get out of.
Always add on this tag line to your wishes:
“This or something better”
I find that sometimes it is best to wish for emotions and states of mind such as “happiness”, “love”, “abundance” “safety” “security” rather than wishing for a specific partner, job or location.
I recall a querent asking if he would get a promotion at work, the message that the Angels gave was a definite “Yes”, I did ask him at the time if he would get the necessary support, guidance and training from his Superiors in the new position as there was a high level of jealousy among his current co-workers who were actively trying to persuade him not to go forward for the position.
He got the promotion but within 6 months he was having doubts about continuing on his new career path.
Be careful what you wish for!
